RECON Living Base, Ebbs

After just five months of construction including pre-production, the RECON Living Base was completed at our location in Ebbs. A three-story apartment building with a basement and nine fully equipped residential units was created from 18 prefabricated wooden modules. The apartments each offer around 60 to 70 m² of living space and have a kitchen-living room, bedroom, bathroom and their own balcony or garden.

When designing the interior, the focus is on living comfort and the natural effect of wood as a building material. High rooms, generous windows and visible wooden walls ensure a bright and pleasant atmosphere. In addition, the wooden surfaces help to naturally regulate the humidity and create a balanced indoor climate.

The technical equipment also meets modern living requirements. A heat pump supplies the underfloor heating and enables both heating and cooling of the apartments. High-quality wood-aluminum windows with external blinds, a photovoltaic system on the roof and electric charging stations on the property complement the energy-efficient building concept.

In the basement, residents have access to a communal laundry room, a bicycle room and their own cellar compartment. A passenger lift connects all levels and enables barrier-free access to the building.

A special feature of the Living Base is its flexible construction. Thanks to the quick connectors used, the building can be dismantled without tools if necessary and reassembled at another location. Despite the long-term intended use, it remains completely dismantled.

The high level of prefabrication enabled a particularly efficient implementation: While the wooden modules were being produced and expanded in the factory, the basement and foundations could be manufactured at the same time on the construction site. The modules were then assembled within a short period of time to form a high-quality, energy-efficient residential building.

With the RECON Living Base, a completely successful building has been created that impressively shows the possibilities of modern wooden modular construction. All nine apartments are now rented and are gradually being filled with life.
